70th Birthday

There’s a woman in Baunton, that all of us know,
A smartly dressed lady, who lives in a bungalow.
She likes nice clothing, and her jewellery’s unique,
She likes walking little “Snoops“, and has her hair done, every week.
She likes nothing more, than having coffee and a chat,
With her friends in Cirencester, most weeks, fancy that.
A jet setter indeed, flying away every year,
With her husband Peter, they just disappear.
Sometimes even twice, they come back with brown faces,
With stories galore, about interesting places.
She has a big Wendy house, oh I do beg your pardon,
It’s a very nice summer house, that she has, in her garden.
A woman with a huge heart, she’s caring as well,
Just ask her children, and grand kids, they’ll tell.
Tell you how supportive, a woman can be,
If you see her in action, im sure you’ll agree.
In 1937, on the 10th of November,
That day became special , and one to remember.
Marion was born, and in her 70th year,
Is still spreading happiness, to all of those near.
Best Birthday wishes, lovingly sent to you,
From Douglas & Debbie, Jane & Gary too.
