We don’t often say, what we know we should,
If there was a special day, you know that we would.
A special day a year, just to let someone know,
How they affect our lives, but never let it show.
The things that they do, the things that they say,
Well there is that occasion, its called Mothers Day.
And then on that date, we open our heart,
And say a big thank you, as they’ve played a part.
In making you just, who you are today,
They have shaped and moulded you in every way.
Whenever you need them, you know they will come,
You are one in a million, and I love you MUM xxxx.
